Saba Divers unser professionelles und persönliches
Dive Center wurde das dritte Mal unter die ersten drei Plätze in der
Kategorie "Beste Tauchbasis in der Karibik" gewählt. Abgestimmt haben
wie immer die Leser von der "Tauchen". Wir fühlen uns geehrt, dass Ihr
für uns gestimmt habt. Tausend Dank. |

Saba Divers: Dreimaliger Award Gewinner in der Kategorie "Beste
Tauchbasis in der Karibik" 2004, 2006 & 2007.
Wir möchten uns recht herzlich bei unserem super, freundlichen und
professionellen Team bedanken. Dank Euch ist es uns gelungen das
erste Mal in der Geschichte drei Auszeichnungen für eine Tauchbasis
nach Saba zu bringen.
Am meisten fühlen wir uns
allerdings durch die positiven Kommentare unserer Gäste
ausgezeichnet. Denn wenn es Euch gefallen hat, müssen wir ja was
richtig gemacht haben ;-) |
| Saba Divers wurde als eine der Top 100 Tauchbasen der Welt von dem deutschen Tauchermagazin Unterwasser im Dezember 2007 vorgestellt. Zusätzlich wurde Saba Divers als eine der besten 15 Tauchbasen in der Karibik erwähnt. Na wenn das nichts ist ;-) |

SITA announces 'Cook-Off' winners
The Hungry Iguana hosted the Sister Island Tourism Association’s (SITA) 11th annual Little Cayman Sister Islands Cook-Off (SICO) on May 17, 2008. About 140 people attended the event on a beautiful Little Cayman Saturday night.
Judges for the Cook-Off were Stephen Wagner, Tonya Foster and Tiffany Rankin, all well-known Grand Cayman food aficionados and members of the Cayman Culinary Society.
The food quality and presentation at this year’s event was spectacular by any standard, much less a beautiful but remote island environment like Little Cayman, the organizers said.
And there was a new category this year – “Bar Drinks”. Anyone who wanted to enter was encouraged to do so. Judges for this prestigious competition were volunteer guests from each of the participating resorts. Eight entries kept all participants busy and laughing while the judges sampled the food entries.
First and second place winners in each category received a cash prize and a beautiful Nambe - Cayman National Trophy. A Grand Champion Cayman National Trophy was awarded to the dish with the highest overall point total.
Soup/Appetizer:
First place Lobster Papaya Cocktail with Rosemary Sourdough - Cam Mackie, Pirates Point Resort.
Salad:
First place Hoisun Duck Breast Salad w/ Grilled Beans, Fennel, and Candied Pecans - Cam Mackie, Pirates Point Resort.
Entrée:
First place: Jerk Grilled Rack of Lamb w/ Passion Fruit Salsa – Cam Mackie, Pirates Point.
Dessert:
First place Coconut Mango Tango – Cam Mackie, Pirates Point Resort
