Wir haben gerade ein neues Projekt gestarted. Ihr wollt mal reinsehen und was schreiben oder einfach nur mal sehen? Geht zu:Saba Divers blog

Verbrachte vom 23.03.- 09.04.09 meinen Tauchurlaub auf Saba bei Wolfgang und Barbara im Scout´s Place.
Über das Tauchen mit den Saba Divers kann ich nur positiv berichten. Besonderen Dank an Hillary, Steve und Rodney. Toller Service und super geführte Tauchgänge. Die Tauchplätze sind ohne Ausnahme empfehlenswert. Bullshark und Nursesharks ebenso wie Schildkröten.
Meine Highlights: Diamond Rock, Tent Reef Wall, Shark Shoal, Ladder Labrinth.
Nitrox kostenlos!!!

Die Unterbringung im Scout´s Place ebenso dufte. Man ist in einfachen, sehr sauberern Zimmern untergebracht. Fernseher, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine stehen zur Verfügung.
Das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Besonderen Dank an die gute Seele der Küche, Vera und an Stephan hinter der Bar.

Am Freitag ist Karaokee-Nacht. Muß man erlebt haben. Tolle Stimmung und nette Leute.
Vielen Dank an Wolfgang und Barbara, die durch ihre lockere Art, mit ihren Gästen Kontakt zu haben, zu einem unvergesslichen Urlaub beigtragen haben.

Hallo ihr da in der Sonne,
Wir wollten uns auch auf diesem Wege nochmal für den super Urlaub und die schönen Tauchgänge bei euch bedanken. Tessa und ich hatten zwar einige StartSchwierigkeiten aber dann war es Urlaub pur. Zum ersten mal haben wir beide zum Ende des Urlaubs gesagt „HIER KÖNNTE MAN AUCH LÄNGER AUSHALTEN!“ Die netten Leute die angenehme Umgebung haben dann natürlich noch alles abgerundet. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder…..(Wenn wir dürfen?!)Bis dahin lasst es euch gut gehen und vergrault die Fische nicht.

Tessa und ich waren gestern bei Bekannten und haben über
unseren Urlaub berichtet. Wieder einmal mehr mussten wir feststellen das

Gratuliere Euch zu einer perfekten neuen Website. Sie gefällt uns richtig gut. Das Ihr uns wieder verewigt habt, berührt uns sehr.
Wir haben Euch und Saba nicht vergessen. Unsere Gedanken schweifen oft ab und wir sind wieder auf Saba. Ganz ehrlich, wir haben uns nirgendwo sonst so wohl gefühlt, wie bei Euch.
Im August sind wir in Indonesien unterwegs und für 2009 planen wir im Herbst. Ein Urlaub bei lieben Menschen auf Saba würde uns gefallen.

Von uns noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön für diesen schönen Urlaub.
Von A (wie Abholung am Flughafen) bis Z (wie Zurückbringen vom Tauchen) hat alles wunderbar gepasst.
Von der Sabaoke-night habe ich einen Kurzfilm gedreht, leider ist er zu Dunkel um ihn ins Internet zustellen.
Aber die Stimme (Wonderful World) ist gut aufgenommen und erstaunt alle Zuhörer.

Viele Grüße auch an Nina, Rachel und Rodney, die Tauchgänge werden ein unvergessliches Ereignis bleiben.

Wir wohnten und tauchten bei Barbara und Wolfgang Tooten, den Betreibern des Scout's Place Hotels und den Saba Divers... 2006 zur Besten Tauchbasis in der Karibik gewählt...

Neben dem Tauch- und Hotelbetrieb auch noch Veranstalter der besten Party auf der Insel!:O)    ...KJ Wolle...

Wir hatten eine super tolle Zeit auf der Insel und können das Hotel, die Basis, die Leute, die ganze Insel mit Tauchen und Wandern nur empfehlen. Da macht Ihr nix falsch... also ab mit Euch nach Saba!  Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

wir sind inzwischen vom Jetlag erholt und finden uns so langsam wieder in den Arbeitsalltag hinein. Müssen wir ja, damit wir ordentlich Geld scheffeln können, um bald wieder bei Euch aufzutauchen. Mehr als 10 Jahre habe ich gebraucht um mir diesen Traum zu erfüllen. St. Maarten, St. Eustatius und Saba. Eines steht fest: Saba ist die Queen! Der Aufenthalt hier war wunderschön: ein niedliches Zimmer, gutes Essen und Trinken und sehr freundliches Personal, das immer Zeit und Interesse hatte. Niemals (!) zuvor habe ich so komfortables Tauchen erlebt, und ich habe mich immer sicher gefühlt. Ein besonderer Dank geht daher and Bradley, Martien und Uwe (Tauchlehrer) Es war ein Traum mit Euch!

Thanks again for the extraordinary vacation last weekend. I can't wait to come back.  Your whole staff was very friendly and  professional at all times.  You made me feel like "one of  the gang."  It was sad to leave. Safety  practices were subtlety abided by  the dive staff.  That is the sign of a successful dive operation.

I am going to send a present for you to present to Bob (Bob is our dive base leader, the editor) as a gift during the next Karaoke night. Don't tell him I sent it but I'm sure he will güss it is "gold" from Buffalo Billy. I hope to visit again...soon.

I can not begin to tell you how much I loved Scout's place. Before I arrived I had many questions. Literally within hours all of my questions were answered, making my trip to Saba quite enjoyable.

Once I arrived in Saba, the hotel staff were waiting for me. They helped me with my scuba gear and gave me a quick run-down of all the hotel amenities.

The dive operation affiliated with Scout's were beyond amazing. They were always on time and the instructors/dive masters were so nice. They went beyond to make sure every dive trip was as good or better then the last.

I have to say that the room was very clean and furnished very tastefully. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant and appreciated how close the hotel was to the little town.

I recommend Scout's 100 percent. I hope that this review is helpful to future travelers.

I’m writing just to say “Thanks Saba Divers” for the great experience diving with you all.  On June 3, 2006 a small group of us dove with Bob and Mel and had a terrific time.  They were both tremendously knowledgeable about both the topography of the dive sites as well as the marine life we would see.  I felt very comfortable with the preparation and safety checks of our gear, the dive briefs, the professionalism, and very friendly attitudes of our hosts Bob and Marie.  Again, I wanted to say thank you for a wonderful experience and I look forward to diving with you all again soon.

I just wanted to write you and tell you that all of us had an AMAZING time while at Scout's Place. The staff was wonderful in making sure we were taken care of while staying with you. Customer service was great from the minute we walked in the door to when Alexander dropped us off ate the airport. We have had some trouble finding places that have good customer service around the islands so we weren't sure what to do when the staff was so pleasant. Our dives were amazing and the dive masters were friendly and knowledgeable, which made our diving experience great. I have forwarded  some information to our Dive Club president at the university. I told her how much fun we had and she wanted your email. We looking forward to come again and explore the great diving of Saba.

Please tell the staff thank you for being patient with such a large group and for being so customers service friendly.

We have been diving throughout the Caribbean over the past 5-6 years and we both agree - Saba was one of the best diving experiences we have had.
