Windward Airlines / Win Air – 5 flights per day starting around 7.00am - 5.00pm (Flight time approx. 15 minutes., approx. $120.00-140.00US return). It is recommended to make a reservation. Check their website: www.fly-winair.com. $5.00US Airport tax from Saba. WinAir has introduced a new luggage policy since July 2008. Be aware that they are not consistent with their policy neither. So what ever they feel like will happen. Sometimes its to your advantage and the next time they will charge you. All Saba and Statia duive centers working on a special deal for divers right now. A very good and reasonable priced Ferry. The captain Craig Buchanan, is the son of the island Dr. and has 20 years experience as captain in the Caribbean. Schedule: from Saba at 6.00 - 7.00am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays. Back the same days at 5.00pm leaving on Chesterfield Marine, Philipsburg (Dutch site) Price for round trip about $65.00 - 80.00US. Schedule to Saba is during the Winter month 5 times a week from Wednesday to Sunday. The Edge is leaving on those days a t approx. 9.00am from Pelican Marina / Aquamania at Simpson Bay. Check in is around 8.00am. Reservation is recommended. Round trip approx. $65.00US. Leaving from Saba back to St. Maarten the same day at 3.30pm. One trip is about 60-75 minutes. Edge website.
