Traveling to Saba:
Q. I'm a nervous flyer and don't think I can do the flight in the small plane, are there any ferry services to Saba from St. Maarten
A. The landing is unforgetable on Saba, Winair has great pilots but if you're really that nervous... Yes there are two ferry services: The Dawn II and the edge ferry service, both take between 1 and a half to 2 hours to reach Saba.

About Saba Divers:
Q. I'm island hopping and don't have my equipment with me, do you have any spare SCUBA gear?
A. Yes we have a full range of hi-tech SCUBA gear for hire click here for more information.
About Saba Island:
Q. Is the tap water safe to drink?
A. All water on Saba is collected from rainfall in cisterns, jury is out on this one, studies show that it is safe to drink but many choose to drink bottled water, however stomach upsets due to consumption of Saba tap water are very rare!
Q. Will my European/American electrical appliances work on island?
A. If you're from the U.S.A. or Canada it's not a problem Saba has 110v current, however coming from europe you will require adaptors (as general voltage in europe is 240V) and/or transformers, laptops however are fine as they have a power source that will handle both voltages (same goes for i-Pods, cell chargers and many other such devices).
About Diving:
Q. Is there any where I can go to dive by myself on Saba?
A. No, diving on Saba is only accessible by boat.
Q. Saba seems quite isolated, what happens if I get bent whilst diving?
A. Diving is safe on Saba, especially with us, but should you suffer or fear you are suffering from the bends there is a DAN certified hyperbaric facility at the harbor, many people on the island are at hand to monitor and treat you.
About Hiking:
Q. Do I require a guide for hiking?
A. The North Coast Trail, is the only trail that we insist that you need a guide for, however it is important that you let the front desk know where you are hiking and when you expect to be back (they can tell you how long it should take).
